Pricing Approaches
Pricing models that work for you
Because our services are highly customized and span a broad range of formats—from second brain sessions to effectiveness evaluations—there isn’t a single “set rate” that applies across the board. Instead, we offer multiple pricing models designed to match different types of work, levels of complexity, and specific needs.
We are committed to making our work accessible, and never want price to be the barrier that keeps us from partnering to further your mission. At the same time, we’re confident the value we can generate together will more than justify the investment.

Per-Hour Pricing
Pricing based on an hourly rate multiplied by the number of hours estimated to complete a project.
Why choose it:
Simple to understand and easier to use for comparing rates of work across different activities and personnel. Can often be the “standard” pricing model used across many industries.
Consideration:
Hourly billing can sometimes create ambiguity around total project costs or unintentionally reward drawn-out timelines. We work hard to ensure transparency and efficiency.
Per-Project Pricing
Pricing based on a flat fee (or percentage) for a set scope of work to be performed.
Why choose it:
Simple and provides visibility and control over the maximum amount of money to be spent on a project. Incentivizes workers to be efficient to maximize earnings.
Consideration:
This model assumes a shared understanding of the project scope. If needs shift midstream, we’ll revisit the scope together with flexibility and fairness.
Retainer-Based Pricing
Ongoing support and flexible access to a range of services without needing to scope a new project each time.
Why choose it:
Provides predictable monthly budgeting and access to services. Encourages a steady rhythm of collaboration, allowing us to build deep context time. Often more cost-effective than starting multiple one-off projects.
Consideration:
This model requires up-front clarity about what services are included and how time is used. May not be ideal for one-time or highly specialized needs.
